Natalie Small, LMFT

Natalie Small, LMFT

Natalie is a bilingual therapist, and the founder of Groundswell Surf Therapy, Natalie developed a unique Surf Therapy model that welcomes your body back into the healing process through practices rooted in Positive Psychology, Somatic and Art based therapy modalities, trauma therapy, yoga & mindfulness, and indigenous connection to nature as our guides and wisdom. She has brought this invaluable experience to the Pain and Trauma Institute. Surf-therapy Sessions are around 70% on land and 30% in the water. 100% of the session is an invitation to notice what is presently alive in your body, your heart, and your head and to experience it, embody it, and play with it in the safe held space.
